The Bluetooth Experience Icon Program is designed to guide and help consumers purchase interoperable products implementing Bluetooth wireless technology. The Experience Icons make it simple to understand what a Bluetooth enabled device can do and how it will work with other devices for printing, file transferring, listening to stereo audio and more. At a glance, the consumer can choose products with the Bluetooth trademark and simply match Experience Icons to ensure a seamless wireless experience. Though the use is voluntary, the Bluetooth SIG encourages all manufacturers of consumer products to implement the Experience Icon Program.
